Let me start by saying Sales = Income. Sales is the core to generating cashflow. Now we do this drill with our clients and in our seminars where we have them do a free word association with the word “salesman”. It never fails that we get every kind of negative words from the group on how they feel about sales people. I cant stress enough how debilitating I have found that to be to business owners and the like. Sales are quite frankly your best friend. Knowing how to sell properly is what is really important here. Never use trapping questions, never try to manipulate a prospect. The truth of the matter is that everyone sells. Not product or services that’s not what I mean here I’m talking about selling your ideas and your team and your point of view etc. everyone sells everyday whether they realize it or not. Every conversation you have is a sale of some kind. The most important sale of al is the sale to yourself. You need to convince you that you are great and are capable of great things.
